The third and final in the Flower Series #003 - titled “Bluebells Darling” -
Each painting had its own story, its own purpose but all carrying the same intention: Light.
I wanted created a series of paintings that you guys could connect with and feel on a deeper level. This particular painting was about connecting with the earth again, going out and feeling the light on your skin, taking time to slow down and enjoy the quiet moments.
Falling in love with the “art of noticing” - because those small moments in your day is what makes you become more present in your life and if you become more present then peace will follow you undoubtedly.

James Williamson is an artist based in Exeter, Devon, whose creative journey has evolved with a deep focus on the landscapes and life of his local surroundings. After years of exploring spontaneous and emotionally-driven abstract work, James has now dedicated himself to capturing the essence of Devon’s natural beauty. For the next few months, he is immersing himself in the local environment, using it as both a source of inspiration and a way to refine his technique. His work is an ongoing exploration of the land he calls home, and he hopes to share that connection with others through his art.
