Created for a special birthday, a painting of Freesias, their favourite flower. After visiting the local florist the ideas started to flow, this painting has become my of favourites to date.
James Williamson is an artist based in Exeter, Devon, whose creative journey has evolved with a deep focus on the landscapes and life of his local surroundings. After years of exploring spontaneous and emotionally-driven abstract work, James has now dedicated himself to capturing the essence of Devon’s natural beauty. For the next few months, he is immersing himself in the local environment, using it as both a source of inspiration and a way to refine his technique. His work is an ongoing exploration of the land he calls home, and he hopes to share that connection with others through his art.
