Rise with the sun
As I reluctantly got up on a very cold early Saturday morning, knowing this was only 1 of 2 days that were planned to be sunny but only till 1pm. I knew I had to take advantage of that and get some new reference photos for my local landscapes series.
The morning really was so clear and so fresh, feeling that cold breeze hugging you with little pockets of beauty popping up everywhere. The constant soundtrack of birds singing away, gave this feeling of elevation.
As glorious golden hour beckoned i saw this little path off the beaton track, i was mm’ing and ah’ring weather to go down there, but like all things in life “if your unsure/nervous/anxious or scared about doing it, then you should always: definitely do it (within reason). And what came from that was a great reference, the exact thing I was looking for to create my 10th painting from in this series.
